Responsible Runners One Year Anniversary Fund-raiser
It's hard to believe they've only been keeping our beaches clean for a year, but in that short time the Responsible Runners have expanded across to cover many of the Eastern and Northern Beaches. Their fund-raising party is as environmentally conscious as the group's ethos, and includes aboriginal music and dance by Doonooch Dancers, story-telling from environmental pro-activists and a screening of the documentary 'Waste Not.'

Underground Cinema Sydney
All you know for now is that you'll be entering 1950s Hollywood. For the Underground Cinema audience, this means glitz, glamour and lots of fun surprises, including the movie title. Fresh from their largest ever event earlier this year, Underground Cinema are back, in a secret central venue made public two days before the event. That'd be about now then- what are you waiting for?

Tears Dry on their Own: Remembering Amy Winehouse
In November 2011, a group of Sydney musicians gathered together to pay tribute to the legend that was Amy Winehouse. The event was such a resounding success that it's now into its third year. Channelling the production quality of Mark Ronson, the sleek band features Danny G Felix on keys, Paul Mason on guitar, Brendan Clark on bass, Dom Kirk on drums and a horn section led by Mike Raper. Glam Rock Roller Disco.
You don't need to be able to skate for an excuse to don your spandex and back comb that hair to death, but it might make things a little more entertaining.
