Melbourne native Jess Cornelius is bringing her musical project - the kooky indie-pop outfit Teeth & Tongue - to Goodgod for an intimate show. The eclectic musician will be playing music from her recent album Grids, as well as ballads, beats and bluster, with plenty of weird surprises in store.

Friday: Alice McCall Sample Sale
Shoppers can get their hands on one-off samples, exclusive styles and previous bestsellers at the annual Alice McCall same sale. Popping up in Surry Hills for two days only, the sale will hold items from as little as $10 each.

Saturday: The Australian Burlesque Festival: Nouvelle Royale
Produced by Melbourne burlesque blessings Dolores Daiquiri and Rosy Rabbit, this global festival brings together homegrown artists and international performers, all competing in the art of seduction at the biggest celebration of burlesque in the Southern Hemisphere.
Exclusive to the festival are: Lillian Starr (performer and director from Sydney), known for her daring routines that won her the People’s Choice title in 2013; Miss Jane – Melbourne whip-snapper; and New Zealand born Venus Starr – the powerhouse circus and burlesque showgirl.

Saturday: Rock Around the Clock Roller Disco
The Roundhouse roller disco is back again with a deliciously rock’n’roll soundtrack courtesy of DJs Andrew P Street, Tom Dobalina, and Alejandro lll. Dust off your bobby socks and short shorts and prepare yourselves for the gnarly-est eight-wheeled party since the 1970’s.

Sydney’s Whitehouse Institute of Design are hosting a huge charity bash in aid of Red Cross Australia, who is marking their centenary year. The night will feature a fashion parade of established and emerging Australian designers, live and interactive art, design markets and much more, with all the proceeds going towards providing relief through Australian and International programs.
