What ‘til Wed – 21st to the 23rd July
It’s that time of year again when you’re either preparing to make the arduous but ultimately worthwhile trip up to Byron Bay for Splendour in the Grass, or to sit at home being jealous that you couldn’t get a ticket. But fear not Sydneysiders, for there is plenty to do and see around your city this week.

The Acid are made up of Grammy nominated DJ & Producer Adam Freeland, Californian producer, composer, professor of music technology Steve Nalepa; and Australian, LA based artist and producer Ry X. With a self-titled EP just out and debut album, Lineal due out in June, The Acid will be touring through Europe before heading to Australia where they'll play shows in Sydney and Melbourne alongside Splendour in the Grass. Catch them on Bondi at El Tropo this Wednesday for a killer night, in collaboration with 1 dollar taco night. Entry is free!
Kelis - The Hi-Fi – Wednesday
Kelis doesn’t really need much introduction, and will be bringing all her boys to the hi-fi this Wednesday as part of her Splendour sideshow. With hugely popular hits like Milkshake and Bossy coming out last decade, Kelis live is surely something to behold. Tickets are still available from http://tickets.thehifi.com.au/default.aspx?Event=43585
