Warehouse Party: Nothing?
They say revolutions are born out of hope rather than misery, and in Sydney, despite all our misery, there’s hope in warehouse parties. Warehouse parties have exploded in recent months due to Sydney’s lockout legislations, which basically shut down the city after 3:00am. Collectives and organisations, both large and small have been dropping events catering to this new breed of party everywhere.
What started as a way for mates to play techno and deep house in clubs like Tatler and Oxford Art quickly transformed into something spectacular. Changing their venues to the more outlandish and out-of–sight, Aaron Celarc and Clayton Pallister have provided for the niche market in the niche market. With a simple philosophy of showcasing brilliant talent, with no care for profit (“As long as we break even we are happy”), the boys are back at it again, taking over a secret Sydney location for a massive BYO rave party this Saturday!
With a mammoth line up, featuring Kato, Mik Ta Menace, Baytek, Stephane, Blowout DeeJays, Censored Maximus NiceGuy, Prisms BSB Deux, and heaps of surprises in store, Nothing? promises a night of deep house and techno for all your raving needs. Tickets are on sale now ($33) at http://www.dashtickets.com.au/event/myz38j90k 18+ and address released only to ticket holders!
“It’s going to be dark, and smoky with plenty of ~lazer vibes~, trippy visuals and props.”
