SYDNEY GRRLS CLUB SAY NO TO SUNRISE SHAMING TATTOOED WOMEN.
This morning at 7am, a group of women rallied outside Sunrise’s studio to promote body positivity and love over hate.
The rally was in reaction to Sunrise’s recent segment on ‘tattooed women’, where one of Koshie’s Angels expressed her opinion that tattooed women are not attractive and “make a negative statement”.
Positioned outside the Sunrise studios this morning, Sydney Grrls Club raised signs promoting body positivity and love.
“We love ALL types of women” and “Girl on girl hate is not what we’re about” are among some of the messages printed on their signs.
Club founder, Naomi Lee Beveridge, posted on social media: “…This was not an attack on Sunrise or anything targeting the presenter (the signs were all encouragement!), just a good chance to show Sydney that we're here and we'll stand up for them by converting our anger into love!“
