SKY05: Island Hopping Through The Stratosphere is the new album of feel-good bedroom hip hop beats and electronic pop from Melbourne-based producer B Deep. The record was made in the dizzy spell of a fever at his parents’ house south of Sydney. Something to focus on while possessed by the irrational feeling that his time was up.

He’s a musical obsessive with love for Jean Michel Jarre, Brian Eno, Bruce Haack, Mort Garson and Klaus Nomi, classic hip hop of all kinds and artists from Stones Throw, Sacred Bones, Not Not Fun and Ghostly International. The guy who turned me onto Tim Hecker, Morgan Delt, Gaslamp Killer, Dam-Funk, King Krule, Delicate Steve, Connan Mockasin and Sun Araw. We share Blank Realm.
