“Young people should always make art - and honestly why not?”
Meet the Kings Collective - a group of young artists who aspire to change the face of the Australian Arts landscape by deepening the often too shallow pool of casting.
Challenging the notion that you need to wait to be given permission to work on the Australian stage, the Kings Collective are debuting at Sydney Fringe 2014 with Lepidoptera: a season of three plays by three prolific playwrights.
This season is the first step of their journey in contributing to the type of work they wish to see, work that is a reflection of a generation that asks itself “how do we know if we are an adult or just playing grown ups?”
