Warehouse Party: Nightmare On Wamp st
As you can probably tell, the crew here at BYO love a good warehouse party, but despite living in the epicentre of warehouse parties (Marrickville), this was only my second foray into this underground scene.
Having only heard about it that night from a friend, and despite already having plans, I decided to take a chance (as I was guaranteed it'd be worth it) on a new experience.
As I arrived, I walked past stragglers covered in blood and other horrors and assumed I must of been at the right place. We eventually arrived to a bevy of various ghosts and ghouls and the like dancing out to a Dj-ing Vampire.
The whole warehouse had been amazingly decked out in everything from cobwebs, to strange liquid filled jars with decapitated dolls heads. The DJ booth even had the set times carved into tombstones. The amount of effort which had gone into setting this environment combined with good people, good sounds and a lot of 'paraphernalia' made for a huge night for all involved, including yours truly, who found himself stumbling home and passing out fully dressed at 4am.
