Goodgod What a Week!

Goodgod Small Club continues its seamlessly amazing run of bookings this week. With artists spanning over a heap of different genres, no matter what your style is, Goodgod has got you covered.

Wednesday night see’s Goodgod bring the very first show of themed night ‘Introducing…’. This is an initiative to showcase some of Australia’s finest artist as they’re on the rise.

The first ever bill is headlined by the Bon Iver inspired sounds of DUSTIN TEBBUTT, the haunting vocal drone of OLYMPIA, LITTLE MAY the female folk trio, and the charming HANNAH KARYDAS.

Thursday night the Danceteria is being taken over once again, but this time by Melbourne psych-poppers KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD. This is an album preview show, providing a great opportunity to catch a sneak peak of some of the tracks from their forthcoming release Float Along – Fill Your Lungs. NICK ALLBROOK will be opening the night, and tickets are $15 + bf.

Friday night sees things get kicked up a notch again, with indie rockers THE TROUBLE WITH TEMPLETON showcasing their freshly released debut album Rookie in an early show. They will be joined by some class supports too, with BATTLESHIPS and the melodic pop duo from the inner-west ACHOO! BLESS YOU.

Tickets for this are $12 + bf, but make sure you down get down there early as The Trouble With Templeton will be gracing the stage at 9.30pm to be followed by some other amazing acts!

Detroit native RECLOOSE will be amping things up in the Danceteria from 11pm! Not only will they be bringing their warehouse party vibes but also drum machine obsessive Aussie INSKWEL, as well as EDSEVEN, HENRY COMPTON and FRED TECTONIC.

Things are sure to get packed and sweaty, and crazy, so make sure you grab your early bird ticket via Lioness for $15 + bf. Otherwise entry will be $25 on the door.

The escapades continue on Saturday night with indie-pop maestro PLUTO JONZE bringing the infectious tracks off his recently released debut album Eject. Having received rave reviews for his live shows and material as of late, he is definitely not one to be missed. Upbeat Brissie rockers HEY GERONIMO will also be taking the stage, ensuring every crowd member leaves with a smile on the dial.
