EL JIMADOR LAUNCHES THE STREET ART SERIES
AN URBAN ART PROGRAM CELEBRATING MEXICAN CULTURE AND CREATIVITY
el Jimador, has announced the launch of its ‘Street Art Series’. The urban art program that aims to beautify everyday objects will take place in inner city locations over the next 12 months. The series is set to bring to life the brand’s #Mexology philosophy, a way of thinking born from Mexico’s free-spirited attitude to life and self-expression through creativity.
The launch event will take place on November 18 at the Oxford Art Factory with partygoers being transported to the beautifully chaotic, urban streets of Mexico City.
Kick starting proceedings is Peque, a renowned street artist originally from Guadalajara, Mexico who embodies ‘Mexology’. Drawing inspiration from the colourful contemporary landscape of Mexican society, Peque will be creating a custom piece of artwork that will be exclusively revealed on the night.
Sydney’s premier Taqueria Barrio Chino will be keeping the party crowd satiated with a selection of their most popular Mexican bites. Guests will be able to enjoy signature dishes such as Pork & Veal Mini Albondigas and Crispy Prawn Tacos.
Tickets to the event are $15 and include a complimentary drink on arrival and Barrio Chino food throughout the evening. For more information visit www.musicglue.com/el-jimador-street-art-series/
