Starting nine years ago as a small bush doof in South-East Queensland, Earth Frequency Festival has evolved organically into something much more. With its hypnotic mix of performance, art, and nature, the festival has flourished, and taken its place on the Australian live music circuit.
Though EFF has a strong commitment to sustainable partying, you won't have to rough it too much. There's ample room to camp, plenty of amenities, and a swimming hole. On top of that, the hinterland around the aptly named Scenic Rim will provide a stunning backdrop to the festivities.
Musically, the festival is a bubbling cauldron of techno, psytrance, folk, funk, dub, reggae and hip-hop, that will push tempos and satisfy cravings. Good vibrations all round.
Tickets are still available for this year's festival, running from the 14-17th of February. Grab a group of friends, old or new, and take a road trip. Bring a good book and plenty of water. Dress like a pixie, and dance heaps. It'll be fun.
