What: Wings of Desire
When: Monday February 17th, 11am – 4pm
Where: blank_space gallery, 374 Crown Street, Surry Hills
Head to blank_space to check out selected works of the final 20 artists in “Der Himmel uber Berline”. This exhibition is the second installment in a triangular experience in Melbourne, Sydney and Berlin. The selected works of the final 20 artists explore the literal translations of “Der Himmel uber Berline”, meaning when the sky starts falling. Lets hope that won't be happening anytime soon, so check out the exhibition will you can!
What: I N D A R K N E S S

After a huge success at “Re Release” last week, The Tate are back with Marisa Mu's I N D A R K N E S S. Exploring the lines between light and shadow, Mu challenges the power of colour and our reception to it. This body of work encourages the colourful nature of our imagination and the organic and sensual forms we digest
What: The Silver Screenings
When: Thursday February 20th, 6pm
Where: The Corner Cooperative, 116 Abercrombie Street, Sydney
In collaboration with Young Henrys, The Corner Cooperative present to you The Silver Screen. This is a partnership of success seeing the fusion of tasty beverages and a collective exhibition dedicated to the Art of film. Featuring 12 local artist of varied mediums, the works are inspired by anything and everything related to the big screen, actors, film theory, film scenes, sets and much more. Veggie Patch Van will also be making an appearance, so head down early not to miss out on some delicious food!
What: Mondo Mundo
When: Friday February 21st, 6pm
Where: Alpha House Gallery, 226 Union Street, Erskineville
With so many talented emerging and established artists around us, its time to celebrate the inspirational Sydney. Head down to Alpha House for Peter Donohue's photographic series of Sydney street life. With many works emerging from the surrounding life on the streets, Donohue's photos explore familiar scenes of Sydney that so many of us enjoy.
