David Moore: Capturing The Creation Of The Sydney Opera House
David Moore (1927 – 2003) was Australia’s most renowned and widely travelled photojournalist. His extraordinary archive covers both his homeland and the many countries and subjects he visited over a sixty-year career.
From 1962 – 1979 Moore photographed the construction of the Opera House. His Opera House series taken from his extraordinary archival body of work will be shown at Customs House to commemorate the development of this iconic building as well as Moore’s photographic legacy.

America: Painting a Nation
On display at the Art Gallery of New South Wales until 9 February, the exhibition is a "voyage through American history, across the American landscape and into the minds of the American people". With many masterpieces shown here for the first time, the exhibition brings together over 90 works from major artists, such as James Whistler, Edward Hopper, Mark Rothko, Georgia O’Keeffe and Jackson Pollock.

The Calling - SYDNEY FESTIVAL
Billed as an “inter-faith minibus tour (with a sonic and visual dreamscape)”, The Calling will take you on a tour of religious architecture and sacred music in Western Sydney. Sounds interesting right?
"This is not an anthropological or theatrical spectacle," says ICE executive director and project curator John Kirkman. "Rather, it is a discreet opportunity to move between and within the built and aural realities and ritual of worship and community faith."
